Fearing success more than failure

This is not a new thought.

Many times we say it quite confidently:

“I think I fear success more than I fear failure”

But that’s as far as we dare go. Having said it – we’ve admitted it and somehow feel absolved. If only for a moment.

Failure is familiar – like a worn shoe, or old coat…it takes our shape, knows every curve, every line…comfort in the simplest sense.

  1. What does SUCCESS look like?
  2. Will it mean having to spend time alone?
  3. Not see family as often?
  4. Become so popular that I lose sight of who I am?
  5. How will success affect my relationships?
  6. Will I lose the people I love?
  7. Will my partner feel intimidated?

The thought of being successful comes with all the additional thoughts of all that we have at stake. And when we mull over that list, it’s a lot!

Success will bring change and change is uncomfortable but don’t fear change.

Keep in mind the words of Helen Keller “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.”

If you can see it, then you start to feel it…

There is a beautiful song by Tuck and Patti called Dream that I loved the first time I ever heard it. It’s all about turning our dreams into reality and so there is a part in the song that gives instructions as to how to do that…

If you can see it
Then you start to feel it
The next thing you know, you believe
And that’s when dreams begin to come true

It’s the same set of instructions Napoleon Hill gives if you want to turn your desire into riches.

  • Decide on the amount.
  • See yourself already in possession of it
  • Really believe that it is already yours

Just seeing it is not enough.

Saying out loud that you want it – will not do you any good either.

Only when thoughts are mixed with feeling do they gain entry into the subconscious mind – that fertile field that will give you exactly what you ask for as it connects with Infinite Intelligence.

Think of it like your very own chemistry experiment with FAITH being the head chemist.

SEE IT

FEEL IT

BELIEVE IT

HAVE IT

Preparing Yourself for ‘The Shift’ when Facing a Crossroad

You are standing at a crossroads in your life — again! You’re not quite sure how you got here and you’re definitely not sure which way to go or how to get to “there” — wherever “there” is. Life has an amazing way of bringing us repeatedly to this place of confusion and dis-satisfaction. It’s confusing, yet it’s also a place rich with possibility. The solution lies in how you navigate your crossroads. If you can navigate your crossroads well, then you can successfully manifest what’s next for you and what your authentic self really wants.

Different women have different things they want to SHIFT in life. Some are doing well in their business or professional life, but want to shift their personal realm. Others are the opposite: they’ve got their personal life in order but their professional sides could use some focus.

Most women recognize that they need help and guidance in managing this shift, when they are experiencing some level of angst or dissatisfaction. It might be in the area of money, prosperity or abundance or, in the area of health, body or fitness or in their desire to create better relationships or more satisfying and creative work for themselves.

No one can copy your mind…

Business owners are usually so scared that someone will steal their ideas, to the point where they keep them locked up so tightly that their precious ideas never see the light of day.

My philosophy is that ideas are a dime a dozen.

Implementation and execution are the trump cards you’re looking for.

Always remember that no one can copy your mind -

  • how YOU think
  • how YOU process
  • how YOU relate one thing to the next

People who focus on stuff being stolen from them are filled with thoughts of scarcity.

There is enough to go around.

There is room for every person to give their idea a chance to grow.

Not all ideas will germinate, take root and flower. Some ideas will never catch on…but if you want a surefire way to failure – then keep on guarding your ideas

with Fort Knox intensity!

Is the dream of becoming more than you are – keeping you stuck?

Is happiness somewhere out there for you?

I’ll be happy when -

  • I get that job
  • Get out of debt
  • Pay my bills on time
  • Find a man/woman
  • Buy my dream car
  • Prove to that schmuck down the road that I am somebody

Whatever it is – what is your outlook on life generally?

People living in scarcity and struggle see the cup as half empty.
People who are positive thinkers see the cup as half full.

People who understand their true connection to Source Energy see the cup as overflowing.

Put another way….you are the cup.

…and another – Stop searching for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You’re already standing in your very own pot!

As you go about your day today – look for the lessons that you are making progress. If you don’t have a journal – get one – and start noting all the evidence abounding that the Universe is in fact conspiring to help you and watch as your manifestations grow.
