Businesses want results. More money. More profit. We want ways to make more money. We want action and we want it fast. Business owners love guarantees. Do X, and I promise you will get Y. Guarantees are lies because not all ideas are going to work.

In order to create your reality you need to know what that is. What is it that you want? I can hear you shouting back at me “more money!” What is “more money” going to do for you? How would that make you feel? Can you embody “more money” before more money actually manifests?

I remember hearing Jim Rohn say…

If you’re going to receive a million dollars, you better become a millionaire.

Having a million dollars does not make you a millionaire. Becoming a millionaire, makes you a millionaire.

What we believe AND what we embody becomes our reality. We all know about the power of belief, yet we often overlook embodiment.

And even though we know about the power of belief we can easily fall into the trap of believing what we “see” and hear in the world about the state of the economy, and all the other attendant lacks in our lives.

We move from “I am not enough” – not good enough, smart enough, rich enough, old enough, young enough, or worthy enough to “there is not enough” – not enough time, not enough money, not enough opportunity…

We need to develop detailed pictures of what we want. We need to feel as if what we desire has happened already. Because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean that it is not “in creation” and given time, trust and patience, we will “see” it – in real time. Until then, we must trust, believe, embody and not allow the false beliefs around scarcity to kill our dreams.

Ideas need to be tested as we hold the vision of what we want in our minds eye – never wavering, never doubting. When we take the first step out in faith, we need to take another, and yet another. Some steps may take us closer, some steps may make us stop and think and regroup; other steps may take us away from our intended vision.

You can create a future where you are thriving.

Once you keep your eyes on your imagined future, ideas will come and contribute, as if by magic to your vision. Quit focusing on the view where hope has no home. If we focus there, we will eventually be convinced that this whole thing called business is pointless.

We each hold a piece of a larger solution. Each of us plays a part in making the contribution that is only ours to make. This is the zone of real excitement and this is the work – to never lose sight of what you have decided that you want for yourself.
