Brian Tracy suggests that you use 10% of what you earn and reinvest that in your own self-education and personal development. This is like food for your soul. I can’t imagine my world without books, and learning and discovering. What would my thoughts be like if I had no influences, new ideas, eye-openers?

We talk quite often of illiteracy but what about the literate people who just won’t read?

Books are the most economical route to personal development. I remember one guy ripping out a page out of a book and taking it with him to work to ensure that he read something every day.
